PROS AND CONS- Producing a Romance Film Opening


PROS

        •Less technical effects would be required: CGI Effects

        •Often only two protagonists are needed

        • A lot more can be communicated to the audience through script and character interaction, without the need of special effects or extravagant props, that arent neccessarily needed.

        •Common conventional use of the voiceover can quickly introduce depth to the plot, characters background etc
CONS

        •The connotation behind anything and everything in terms of mise-en-scene, will require not only muchmore thought, attention to detail but all in all more cost. (Also Often more than one location is needed, to show relationship progression etc)

        •Its imperative the actors/actresses are very convincing, script wise and physically to really convey the emotions associated with romance, love, relationships, passion etc. Casting may become time-cosuming due to this point.
